What You Need to Know Before Your First Visit to Our Chiropractic Center

At Schubbe Resch Chiropractic & Physical Therapy, your health and well-being is our top priority. If you are a new patient, our helpful and friendly staff will guide you through each step of your visit. As your first appointment will include paperwork, examination, evaluation, and treatment, it will take longer than follow-up appointments. You can download and fill out the forms below before your first appointment to reduce the amount of time in the office.

Commonly Asked Questions About Our Chiropractic Services

What should I expect on my first visit?
Your chiropractor will discuss your health goals and review your health history to determine if chiropractic treatment can help you. A comprehensive exam with specific orthopedic and neurological tests will identify the cause of your problem, and X-rays may be taken if necessary. A treatment program will be explained and most patients will receive treatment on their first visit.

What should I expect on follow-up appointments?

The length of the treatment varies depending on the individual’s medical condition. Typically, newer injuries, if treated appropriately and immediately, tend to require fewer visits if major tissue injury has not occurred. Recurring conditions or those that have been present for more than three months generally require more time to achieve a successful outcome. Once we have alleviated your symptoms and eliminated your pain, we recommend that you have periodic checkups.

What types of insurance do you accept?

We accept most insurance plans in which chiropractic services are covered. Please know that you'll be responsible for any out-of-pocket costs in accordance with your insurance policy. Although our staff will contact your insurance company for a benefits quote, we cannot guarantee coverage and you are encouraged to contact your insurance company directly for complete benefit information.
